Three things happen. That's it.

Come in once

Your child sees Dr Yann for a full assessment. Photos, X-rays and a 3D scan give us a detailed starting point to measure everything against.

Scan from home

Three times a year, you take a quick scan with your phone. It takes about five minutes, at whatever time suits you.

We tell you where things are at

Dr Yann compares each scan against the last and lets you know. If nothing has changed, you hear that too. If it's time to start, we'll tell you.

Questions parents ask

Does this mean my child needs braces?

No. It's the opposite. SmileTrack is about watching carefully so we don't start treatment before it's needed, and don't miss the right moment when it comes. For a lot of children, the answer for a long while is simply that everything is developing as it should.

Is my child the right age?

There's no fixed age. SmileTrack is for children who have had an assessment with us but aren't ready for treatment yet. Dr Yann will let you know when monitoring makes sense based on how your child's teeth are developing.

Do we still have to come in?

Once, at the start, for the full assessment with Dr Yann. After that, routine monitoring happens from home. If Dr Yann spots something that needs a closer look, we'll ask you to come in, and that visit is charged at our standard $69 consultation fee.

We live outside Darwin. Does that work?

It works especially well. The first appointment is in Darwin or Palmerston, then everything after that happens wherever you are. Families in Katherine, the Tiwi Islands and remote communities are exactly who we built this for.

What do we need at home?

A smartphone and the free app, plus the small scanning device we give you at your first appointment. We'll check whether your phone needs a clip-on light and sort that out with you beforehand.

What happens after 30 September?

SmileTrack Club keeps running. New members just join at the standard rate of $179. The $99 rate is only for families who join by 30 September 2026.
