Linda McParland

Practice Manager

Linda is a highly experienced Practice Manager with over 20 years of experience managing businesses and medical practices across various modalities. Some of the modalities include: General Practice, Vascular Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Urology, Osteopathy, Aboriginal Corporation Health Services, and now, Darwin Orthodontics. Linda joined Darwin Orthodontics in 2023.

Linda is passionate about creating a happy, positive, and healthy work culture that is warm and welcoming for both patients and staff.

Linda raised her family on Melbourne’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula before following her lifelong dream to live and work in a warmer climate. She now calls the NT home and loves it!

Linda’s hobbies include hiking (The Larapinta Trail), swimming, snorkelling, renovating, and gardening.

Leonie Turra

Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist

Leonie is a dual-qualified Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist. She graduated as a Dental Therapist in 1993 and spent her early years working for Sunshine Coast Regional Health.

She later recognised the need for quality dental care for children in remote indigenous communities and then spent 5 years travelling in a mobile dental unit throughout the Kimberley region. It was during this time that she developed an interest in Orthodontics.

In 2004, Leonie completed a Diploma of Dental Hygiene at Curtin University, Perth. She then relocated to Darwin to work at the Darwin Orthodontic Centre as a Therapist/Hygienist

Karen La Fontaine

Dental Hygienist

Karen qualified as a dental hygienist in the Royal Australian Navy in 1991.

Civilian accreditation and registration with the Dental Board of 1994.

Karen has worked in General Dentistry, Periodontics, and Orthodontics.

Career highlight- United Nations deployment to Rwanda 1994-1995.

Reannah Rowe

Clinical & Admin Coordinator

Reannah is an experienced Clinical & Admin Coordinator with a strong background across healthcare and community services. Before moving into dentistry, she worked as a Youth Worker and Aboriginal Health Worker, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and community engagement.

Her journey in dentistry began as a Dental Assistant, where her drive and commitment quickly saw her progress into the field of orthodontics. Through hard work and initiative, Reannah has grown into her current role as Clinical & Admin Coordinator, where she continues to thrive in both clinical and administrative leadership.

Reannah is passionate about giving back to patients and creating a supportive, positive experience for every individual who walks through the door.

As part of a Defence family, Reannah has lived in various parts of Australia. She was born in Toowoomba, later moved to Victoria, and has now happily settled in Darwin with her family - a place they are proud to call home.

Reannah’s hobbies include running, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Madison Harvey

Treatment Coordinator

Madi is a Treatment Coordinator who joined Darwin Orthodontics in 2023. Madi brings a compassionate and understanding approach to patient care.

Madi's experience working with individuals of diverse needs has shaped her empathetic nature and ability to create a comfortable and positive experience for patients throughout their orthodontic journey.

She is very passionate about helping patients feel confident and informed about their treatment, ensuring every visit is welcoming and stress-free.

Madi enjoys spending time with family outside of work & going for nice sunset & sunrise walks.
