Your next orthodontic appointment starts before you arrive.
Send a quick scan from home before your visit. Dr Yann reviews your progress in advance, so your appointment can be better prepared and focused on exactly what you need.

How it works
We set you up in practice
At your appointment we give you a ScanBox, set the app up on your phone and do your first scan together before you leave.
You scan from home
Clip your phone into the ScanBox, follow the prompts and send. About five minutes, wherever suits you.
Dr Yann reviews it
He sees how you're tracking and messages you back. If something needs attention, we know in days rather than at your next visit.
Your appointments still happen. They're just better prepared.
Remote monitoring doesn't replace your visits. If you're in full braces, you'll keep coming in on your normal schedule.
What changes is that the scan you send beforehand shows us exactly where you're up to. We can plan properly, know what's likely to be needed, and build the appointment around your progress.

SmileTrack Club
If your child has seen us but isn't ready to start, SmileTrack Club lets Dr Yann monitor how their smile is developing from home, so we begin at the right time. Introductory rate until 30 September.
Questions patients ask
Will I have fewer appointments?
Not necessarily, and if you're in full braces your normal appointments continue. This isn't about removing visits, it's about making them count. The scan you send before you come in tells us how you're tracking, so we can plan the appointment properly and you know what to expect.
Does it work with braces, or only aligners?
Both. Aligner patients have used it for a while, and we're now bringing full braces patients on too. That's unusual in Australia and it's one of the things that makes our approach different.
Is there an extra cost?
No. If you're in full braces or clear aligners with us, it's already included in your treatment fee. SmileTrack Club, for children not yet ready for treatment, is a separate membership.
What do I need at home?
Your phone, the free app and the ScanBox we give you. Some newer phone models also need a small clip-on light, and we check that with you before your appointment. If you order it yourself it's free and it can come straight to the practice.
Who actually looks at my scans?
Dr Yann and the clinical team. The platform analyses the images and flags what it finds, then a clinician reviews it. The technology supports the decision, it doesn't make it.
I'm already a patient. How do I get set up?
Just let us know. Mention it at your next appointment or call the practice on (08) 8982 0400 and we'll arrange it.
Darwin or Palmerston?
Either. You're set up at whichever clinic you normally attend, and the same clinical team reviews your scans regardless.
